If the segment code shows inactive or is not available, the customer is not eligible for this rate plan. 

  • Do not proactively offer this plan to customers if they do not have the active segment code on the account. 
  • There is no option to self-qualify for this plan.

If customers are placed on this plan but do not meet eligibility, they will be moved back to their previous rate plan. Exception: See Escalation Support under Resources below.

  • Customer is not eligible for Better Value (tenure is 2–5 years) 
  • Customer wants more included benefits without moving to a higher-priced rack rate premium plan (like Experience More or Experience Beyond) 
  • Customer has existing free lines or service discounts (including Loyalty X by Y credits, and Hometown Discounts, etc.) and wants to keep them 
  • Customer says or signals they want: 
    • Better streaming benefit options included in their plan 
    • More high-speed hotspot than they have today 
    • Solid trade-in phone upgrade promo value

Escalation support

Customer Care Managers and above and Retail Managers and above can help existing customers who meet the plan requirements but who cannot change their plan through T-Life or My T-Mobile for various reasons such as:

  • Customers refuse digital
  • Customers require their plans to be backdated
  • Customers have 2 or more years of line tenure on at least one voice line, but less than two years of BAN tenure

Additional promo details

  • All service credits, including Loyalty X by Y credits and free lines, will carry over to this new plan, except T-Mobile Insider.
  • Set expectations with customers about any impacts to their current plans.
