Use this page for details about Netflix on Us. With Netflix, you can watch unlimited movies and TV shows on your laptop, TV, phone, and tablet. 

Only the correct Netflix On Us SOCs should only be added for eligible customers. The paid subscription SOCs are added at the line level.If you need to add one of the paid subscription codes (such as the customer is not eligible for Netflix On Us), add at the line level and not at the BAN/account level (otherwise they will not be able to redeem).

Updated pricing will apply to existing customers starting with their May 2026 billing cycles.

  • Customer messaging will begin April 2, 2026 for Paid Standard and Premium subscribers, as well as Netflix On Us customers.
  • Paid subscribers will be notified of the price increase.
  • Netflix On Us customers will be informed that their benefit will continue and the price increase will not affect them.

Netflix Premium (four screens within your household) streaming subscription.

  • Includes unlimited ad-free movies, TV shows, and games.
  • Streams in HD and Ultra HD (4K); Ultra HD requires a T-Mobile HD video pass.
  • Watch on up to four screens at the same time within your household.
  • Download on up to six supported devices at a time.

Netflix on Us eligibility

  • Eligible rate plans have Netflix listed in the What’s Included section on their individual rate plans pages in Magenta Pulse.
  • Eligible rate plan SOCss are listed on the Netflix on Us SOC groupings page along with the corresponding Netflix on Us benefit. Employees should review the SOCs Netflix to determine if rate plans are eligible.
  • Line requirements:  
    • Some rate plans require two or more lines for the Netflix on Us benefit while other plans only require one line.
    • For example, Go5G requires two or more lines while Go5G Next requires only one line.
  • All voice lines on the account must be on an eligible plan to add the Netflix feature. 
    • The Netflix SOC is product level and you will be unable to add if any plans on the account are not eligible.
    • Customers would need to select another plan that is eligible with Netflix.

Netflix Paid Subscription eligibility

  • Most customers are eligible to add a paid Netflix subscription to their account. 
  • To confirm eligibility, refer to the eligibility XLS

Not Eligible

  • Plans not listed are not eligible.
  • Employees should always refer to the What’s Included section on individual plan pages to determine if Netflix on Us is included.

Cost & SOC details

Plan pricing will increase May 2026 billing cycles. Updated pricing will be reflected in Magenta Pulse and customer billing based on billing cycle.

Add the appropriate Netflix SOC and then instruct the customer to complete the redemption steps. The price below shows the customer cost after a $6.99 monthly discount is applied.

Set expectations

  • Customers must complete the Netflix on Us redemption for theirs services to be available. 
  • Netflix streaming subscription requires redemption, a new or existing active Netflix account, and a compatible streaming device or app before it can be used.
  • Customers may lose free lines or other promotions when switching from a current plan to a new plan that has the Netflix on Us benefit.
  • T-Mobile for Business customers:
    • Only single BAN customers can redeem Netflix in Account Hub. 
    • Multi BAN customers cannot participate.
    • Customers need to contact Customer Support to make changes to their Netflix plan or make those changes with Netflix directly.
  • Customers with eligible plans can change their Netflix plan to Standard with ads, Standard, or Premium at any time at My T-Mobile or the T-Life app. 
  • If customers receive the message 'Your plan does not support streaming on this device’ it usually means their device needs to be updated, or that it doesn't work with ad-supported Netflix plans. Refer customers to https://help.netflix.com/en/node/127864  for support on specific device types.
  • All recurring taxes and fees are included with the $0 version.
  • Customers who receive the "Cannot add via app" message can use T-Mobile.com to make changes.

Did not complete redemption:

If a customer does not complete the redemption process within a specific amount of time the following will occur:

  • On day 113 after the feature was added but not redeemed, the customer will receive a final reminder message to complete redemption.
  • On day 120 after the feature was added but still not redeemed, the feature is cancelled and a notification is sent to the customer, and a memo is placed on customer's account.

If a customer reaches out about the feature being cancelled and they want to re-add, add the SOC to the account and help the customer complete the redemption process.

 

Plan change impacts

  • If a SOC conflict error appears when migrating between plans that receive the Netflix on Us benefit:
    • You must manually replace the old Netflix on Us SOC with the new SOC.
    • Ensure that the effective date of the new compatible Netflix on Us SOC is the same as the expiration of the old Netflix on Us SOC.
    • This prevents the customer from losing their Netflix on Us benefit.    
  • If Netflix was removed during a plan change and not re-added, add the feature and inform the customer that they’ll receive a T-Mobile SMS with a link to re-redeem Netflix on Us. T-Mobile for Business customers should not follow the SMS for redemption and should use the Account Hub instead. 
  • Netflix SOCs are systematically expired if customers perform a future-dated/backed plan change and their current Netflix SOC is NOT eligible with their new rate plan.
  • Proactive cleanups ensure customers keep their Netflix benefit (memos are posted to impacted accounts). However, the cleanup does not capture every scenario and you may need to take action. If Netflix was removed during a future dated/backdated rate plan change and not re-added:
    1. Manually add the feature with effective date that matches the rate plan change date.
    2. Inform the customer that they’ll receive a T-Mobile SMS with a link to re-redeem Netflix on Us.

Netflix household policy

A Netflix account is meant to be shared by people living together in one household – which Netflix defines as people who live in the same Netflix household with the account holder.

  • A Netflix Household is a collection of the devices connected to the internet at the main place you watch Netflix. 
    • A Netflix Household can be set using a TV device. 
    • All other devices that use your Netflix account on the same internet connection as this TV will automatically be part of your Netflix Household. 
  • An account owner may have the ability to buy an extra member slot and invite people outside their household to use Netflix. 
    • An extra member will have their own profile, account, and password, but their membership will be paid for by the person who invited them to join. 
    • This feature is only available through Netflix and not available for customers billed through T-Mobile.

  • If customers don’t set a Netflix Household, Netflix will do this automatically. 
    • This can be updated by customers at any time. 
    • To learn more about Netflix’s policy, see www.netflix.com/sharing or to add a new Netflix account for additional users, customers can go to Netflix.com.  
  • T-Mobile’s Netflix on Us benefit and upgrade options are subject to Netflix’s household policy. 

Additional information

  • When adding the Netflix on Us feature, select Ban Level Services from the Actions toolbar and click List to see the compatible SOC for the customer's plan. 
  • When adding an additional paid Netflix subscription, you must select the line on the account that you want to add the subscription to and this is the line that will receive the redemption SMS. 
  • Add-on features (such as MAXUp, PlusUp or One Plus) do not impact a customer's Netflix On Us eligibility. 
  • The additional charge for Netflix on Us Standard or Premium is not eligible for the Employee Discount.
  • Netflix on Us and Microsoft 365 on Us features cannot be combined on the same account.
  • If you're future dating the plan change, future date the new compatible Netflix SOC to correspond with the new plan, and manually set the expiration date of the current Netflix SOC to the day before the plan change.
