  • Lines added to the account via Change of Responsibility (COR) or BAN-to-BAN moves, converted from NCC/SCNC to normal Postpaid, and lines resumed from cancel do not qualify for this requirement.
  • If a customer canceled a voice line within the past 90 days (excluding CORs and No Installs), the line must be resumed before they can add a brand-new voice line to qualify.

A $0 Feature SOC will be automatically added to eligible lines before T-Satellite service launches on July 1, 2025.

  • New voice line must be maintained for at least 1 year after enrollment to continue receiving credits.
  • Non-T-Mobile customers who keep T-Satellite service after the beta period ends but do not switch to T-Mobile will not qualify for this offer.

  1. Go over the promo details and these advisements with your customer so they understand what to do to get and keep this promo:

  2. Confirm customer is enrolled in the beta (participation in beta is not required). If the line is not enrolled in the beta, walk the customer through the registration steps available at T-Satellite beta.
  3. Confirm T-Satellite device eligibility for each line and that they are on or changing to a qualifying rate plan.
  4. Help customers place their new line activation and port-in. 
  5. A $0 T-Satellite Feature SOC will be automatically added to eligible lines before T-Satellite service launches on July 1, 2025.
  6. Ensure the customer understands that once the year of T-Satellite on us ends, they will automatically be charged monthly for each line that has the service.

  • This promo is for a limited time only and subject to change and should be communicated to customers in this way.
  • All qualification details must be clearly and accurately communicated with customers to ensure they understand the promotional eligibility requirements.

FAQs

The T-Satellite beta allows customers who enroll to be among the first to experience satellite-to-mobile connectivity for free until July. The beta will begin with text-only messaging through their phone’s native messaging app, enabling them to send and receive standard text-based messages, including texts to 911. In the future, T-Satellite will also include picture messaging, data services and voice calling. Once they're fully accepted into the beta, when no other service is available, their phone will automatically connect to T-Satellite. They’ll see the network name “T-Mobile SpaceX” when connected.

If the customer is calling in because they were enrolled in the beta, help them process the registered line in this promotion in Virtual Retail (Care should transfer to Virtual Retail if a customer is calling into Care). If they are wanting to bring over multiple lines, each line must be registered for the beta to qualify. If the customer is not aware of the 1 Year of T-Satellite On Us promotion, process the activations but do not add the feature to their line.

The customer should receive a SMS notifying them that they are enrolled in this promotion up to 14 days after activation.

No, customers are only eligible if they registered for the beta and received an email invite.

Take care of the customer and get them set up with T-Mobile service and the T-Satellite beta promotion.

Customers shouldn't cancel an existing voice line with the intention of replacing it with a newly activated voice line to take advantage of this promo, even if the cancellation happens after the new voice line activation.

Customers should never be told to cancel lines, before or after a promotion, in an effort to qualify or justify a promotion. If a customer does not need additional lines, explore other promotions or discuss device price points. Driving CHURN to close sales is not the right thing to do.

Customers who port multiple lines will only get the discount on the line(s) that are registered for the T-Satellite beta.
