Change an Authorized User: Samson
For Consumer Accounts, leverage self-service steps for adding Authorized Users or steps in Atlas whenever possible to add or manage T-Mobile ID Authorized User roles, to ensure the customer has access to assisted channel and digital support.
Use these steps to add or remove an Authorized User in Samson.
- Access BAN Profile tab > Page Options.
- Select Authorization Names > Change First or Change Second.
- Read the disclosure on the screen that appears to the customer.
- Authorized Users will need to verify their identity to access your account.
- They will have full access to your account and can make changes that can impact your bill, such as adding or suspending lines, financing devices, or changing rate plans.
- You will be responsible for these changes and any resulting charges or fees.
- Authorized Users can enter into agreements on your behalf, so by adding them to your account you are confirming they have your approval and are old enough (18 in most states) to legally do so.
- If they agree, click the Do you agree to these terms check box.
- Verify the spelling of the authorized user name and enter the information in the fields provided.
- Enter field details to add, change, or remove Authorized User. For additional Authorized Users, ignore field labels and separate names with a comma.
Example: Bob Jones, Thomas Jones, Jason Jones - Select OK twice > Save.
