  • New voice line with port-in on new or existing accounts, HSI, T-Satellite or Fiber only accounts are eligible.
  • Lines added to the account via Change of Responsibility (COR) or BAN-to-BAN moves, converted from NCC/SCNC to normal Postpaid, and lines resumed from cancel do not qualify for this requirement.
  • If a customer canceled a voice line within the past 90 days (excluding CORs and No Installs), the line must be resumed before they can add a brand-new voice line to qualify.
  • TFB accounts cannot exceed 12 voice lines before taking advantage of this promotion. After qualifying lines have been enrolled, customers may add additional lines to the account and exceed the 12 voice line limit.

  • Customers must submit online at promotions.t-mobile.com with promo code COSTCOBYOD within 30 days of activation. A rebate submission is required for each ported line.
  • Rebate processing may take up to 14 weeks. Once approved, as a virtual card sent via SMS. 
  • This promo requires 90 days of validation / active service before submissions will be processed. The processing timeline accounts for this.
  • Customers with EIP on the line prior validation will be denied.

    The customer must submit for a rebate on promotions.t-mobile.com with promo code BYODREBATE or COSTCOBYOD (for Costco locations) within 30 days of activation.


    Rebate processing may take up to 8 (14 for Costco locations) weeks. Once approved, you should receive a text message with your virtual card within 7 business days. This promo requires 30 days of validation / active service before submissions will be processed. The processing timeline accounts for this.
  2. Confirm customer is eligible to port-in.
  3. Confirm customer is on or changing to a qualifying rate plan.

FAQs

Customers shouldn't cancel an existing line with the intention of replacing it with a newly activated line to take advantage of this promo, even if the cancellation happens after the new line activation.

Customers should never be told to cancel lines, before or after a promotion, in an effort to qualify or justify a promotion. If customers do not need additional lines, explore other promotions or discuss device price points. Driving CHURN to close sales is not the right thing to do.

There are two different Costco port-in rebate offers, each designed for a specific customer scenario:

  • One for customers who want a new device on Experience Beyond.
  • One for customers who are bringing their own device (BYOD) on Experience Beyond or any other eligible rate plan.

Because each offer has different rebate submission steps, submitting the wrong rebate can create a poor customer experience. Be sure to recommend the correct offer up front and provide the right redemption steps so the customer can successfully redeem their rebate.
