Internet voice bundle discount

Use this page to learn about the Internet voice bundle discount per eligible Internet line if they have at least one voice/T-Satellite only line on their account.

Eligibility

Customers can get a $15 or $30 credit on select Internet plans on their accounts. Discount amount varies based on the Internet plan. 

Eligible 
  • Requires a qualifying Internet plan and one or more voice/T-Satellite only lines active on their accounts.
    • Only one postpaid voice/T-Satellite only (GSM) line is required to get the discount on each eligible Internet line.
    • There are no restrictions on which voice/T-Satellite only line plan customers can have.
  • Always refer to the the specific Home Internet or Small Business Internet plan page to verify plan eligibility and discount amount ($15 or $30).
  • This deal can be combined with the $5 AutoPay bill credit on some plans. Review individual plan pages for confirmation.

This deal cannot be combined with:

  • Internet AWAY Plans
  • Internet Backup Plans
  • Internet Lite Plans
  • Internet Plus Plans
  • Unlimited Internet Promotional Plan
  • Retired Unlimited Internet Plans
  • Retired Unlimited Internet Puerto Rico Plan
  • Or any other non-Rely/Amplified/All-In Internet plan
  • Prepaid

Set expectations

How it works

  • Customers can receive discounts on each eligible Internet line (more than one discount may apply).
  • Only one voice/T-Satellite only plan is required on the account to get the discount on each eligible Internet line.
  • For example, if you have two eligible Internet lines and at least one voice/T-Satellite only line active, you will receive a credit each month for as long as you keep the internet lines & voice/T-Satellite only line on the account. Here's some credit amount examples: 
    • $30 in total discounts ($15 for two Internet lines)
    • $60 in total discounts ($30 for two Internet lines)
    • $45 in discounts ($15 for one Internet line and $30 for another Internet line) 
  • In these examples, the total discount amount can vary based on the discount amount combination ($15 or $30) each Internet plan is eligible for. Refer to Internet plan pages to confirm credit/discount amount. 

 

Additional details

  • Customers will see the full charges along with the associated credit on their bill each month when they are eligible (starting with the first bill for new activations or their next bill for plan changes).
  • The credit is automatic as long as the customer has a qualifying Internet plan and one or more voice/T-Satellite only lines active on their accounts.
  • The credit appears on their bill as INT Voice Bundle Discount. 
  • Customers who change or add a qualifying Internet line mid-bill cycle will see prorated charges for those changes as well as a prorated bill credit. The system calculates the total days of service divided by 30 days to determine the percent used for prorating charges.
  • Customers who remove all voice/T-Satellite only lines from their account will lose the bill credit. 
  • If a qualifying voice/T-Satellite only line is suspended, customers are still eligible for the discount.
  • This credit does not check for past due delinquent status and will apply each month as long as the account is not suspended involuntarily for any period of time during the bill cycle.
  • Customers on retired eligible plans will continue to receive this bill credit, even after their plan's retire date. Discount adjustments can only be viewed in Atlas. 

 

Verify requirements

  1. Inform customers they need to meet the following requirements to be eligible for the discount each month:
    • Have an eligible Internet line active on their account.
    • Have one or more voice/T-Satellite only lines active on the same account.
  2. Advise customers they will lose the discount if they don't meet both requirements above.
    • It is critical that customers are advised that they will not receive this discount. 
    • Care Experts should validate that either both requirements are met or ensure customer is aware.
    • A note should be placed on the account documenting that advisement was provided.

 

Customers who cancel their Internet line at the end of their billing cycle will not receive their credit due to system limitations. Care Experts should set a follow-up when canceling an eligible Internet line to credit the cost of the $15 or $30 bill credit for the final month.
