Set expectations
 
  • Confirm customers will use their AWAY plan for travel since it is not intended for use primarily in a single location.
  • A T-Mobile 5G Gateway is required and included with the plan at no extra charge.
  • If a customer cancels their Internet service, the gateway must be returned, or they will be charged a non-return fee up to $370.
  • The account is charged a one-time $79 Internet Equipment Damage Charge if a returned gateway fails the device condition check.
  • During congestion, customers on this plan may notice speeds lower than other customers and further reduction if using >1.2TB/month, due to Data Prioritization.
  • Advise customes with the 200GB plan:
    • You receive automatic SMS notifications to the gateway at 80%, 95%, and 100% consumption of the plan monthly data allotment. 
    • You can use T-Life to monitor data usage.​
    • Once your data limit is reached, speeds will drop to max 128 Kbps. 
      • You will still be able to download security updates to the device as well as perform account management.
      • You can add a T-Mobile Internet Data Pass.
  • Domestic and international roaming are not supported.

  • T-Mobile Internet is considered an Internet Service Provider (ISP) line.
  • Plan Type: MI
  • Billing for T-Mobile Internet is the same as MI plans.
  • Billing for this product begins when the gateway is shipped, and the line is activated.
  • AWAY is eligible for Seasonal Suspend at $10/month. Atlas may show incorrect customer advisory of full MRC, but billing is accurate.
  • T-Mobile Internet is compatible with Wi-Fi calling.
  • Can't use with message blocking or content blocking, including BAN level content blocking.
  • Coverage devices (cell spots and signal boosters) are not compatible.
  • These plans enable you to stream video content depending on available speeds, however, you may not be able to use live streaming that requires location services.
