Eligibility

Before adding this plan, military verification is required to confirm eligibility, requirements, and verification details. Retail: Customer MUST submit for verification prior to leaving the store or must be moved to a standard rate plan.

Eligible Activation Channels

Retail:
- New Account and AAL Activations
- The initial rate plan activation for new accounts must occur in Retail.
Customer Support:
- Can complete rate plan changes to the Go5G lineup for existing customers
- Can activate AAL only in Salesforce – without device trade in
Sales:
- AAL only in Salesforce without device trade in
- In TFB Direct, sellers can only AAL to an existing customer on the Go5G portfolio

To add the plan to an account, add a Plan SOC + add an AAL SOC (only add to lines 3-6, and lines 8-12) + add a Data SOC (to all lines). Plan opened April 23, 2023.

Set expectations

These plans are only eligible to verified past or present members of an eligible US military branch, or a Gold Star Family members.
- A Change of Responsibility on your account or military document submission may be necessary to qualify for this plan.
- Military credentials may only be associated to one T-Mobile account. If you have multiple accounts, you'll need to choose which account you would like to qualify.
- After adding this plan you will be notified via SMS within 72 hours (and again 15 and 38 days after) to verify your military affiliation until verification is complete.
- If verification isn't completed within 45 days, your plan will be changed automatically to standard Magenta with no military discount (a price increase of up to $20 per line).
All on-network data used counts towards fair-use de-prioritization limits.
If the customer is coming from a plan that includes Music Freedom, Binge On, or Data Stash, let the customer know that this plan does not include these features.
If the customer has any retired features, those will be removed upon switching to this plan.
Tax treatment for add-ons or upgraded services (such as Netflix upgrades) may be different from the tax treatment of the plan.

Resources

Customers can upgrade Netflix for an additional cost.
Adding a feature with additional hotspot will start the customer over at zero. It will not take into account the amount already used this cycle.
