USSD codes and self-service codes

Use this page to provide customers with USSD codes and self-service codes.

  • USSD codes work with both prepaid and postpaid accounts.
  • Most USSD codes require the customer to tap Send button, like they were making a call.
  • Some do not work with business lines, including checking balance, Family Allowances and web usage.
    • Some third-party abbreviated dialing codes (#8722, #250, 826 as examples) may answer with the message “Your call cannot be completed as dialed" even though these calls may have worked previously. 
    • Do not file a trouble ticket. 
    • Customers should dial the direct number to reach these organizations.
  • For short and long codes, see Commercial Messaging (Short and long codes).
  • Sonim devices require a data SOC for Call Forwarding USSD to function. Plans that only support voice and text services will not function for CF USSD when using a Sonim device.
